PLEASE READ THESE OFFICIAL RULES AND EVENT TERMS CAREFULLY. BY REGISTERING FOR OR PARTICIPATING IN THE PROMOTION, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ALL TERMS DESCRIBED HEREIN AND ALL TERMS INCORPORATED BY REFERENCE. THIS AGREEMENT CONTAINS, AMONG OTHER THINGS, A LIABILITY RELEASE AND WAIVER.

 

This Official Rules and Event Terms (this "Official Rules") is a contract between you and Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. (“BNEI”, “us”, “we” or “our”) and applies to your registration to win a ticket for (the “Promotion”) and your attendance at the Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle 10th Anniversary Fan Meetup (the “Event”). These Official Rules are subject to BNEI's Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict between these Official Rules and the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service shall contract.

Additional terms provided by us or our affiliates (including, but not limited to, code of conduct, or terms on official website or any tickets) may also apply. Unless otherwise indicated, any additional applicable terms are incorporated by reference into this Official Rules. In the event of a conflict between this Official Rules and any additional terms, the additional terms shall govern.

 

1. ELIGIBILITY. 

The Event and Promotion is open to individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years of age or the age of majority in their state (whichever is older), as of the start date of the Promotion. Employees of Sponsor and its affiliates, vendors, and their respective immediate families are not eligible to enter this Promotion. If the winner is found to be ineligible, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prize to another participant and to require the return on any prize already rewarded. THIS PROMOTION IS OPEN TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES (EXCLUDING RHODE ISLAND) ONLY. THIS PROMOTION IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW. 

 

2. EVENT.

The Event will be held on January 18, 2025 at the Shrine Auditorium, 665 W. Jefferson Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90007, USA.

Schedule is subject to change without notice. 

An individual without a prior registration and a valid ticket will be denied entry.

 

3. PROMOTION PERIOD. 

Entry for the Promotion begins on 7:00PM (PST) October 21, 2024, and ends on 6:30AM (PST) November 6, 2024.

 

4. HOW TO ENTER

To enter the Promotion, you must complete the following steps:

1)      Complete the survey linked via in-game notification

2)      Score in the top 25% of users in either of the following in-game events of the international version of Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle:

 

Event A.

*Period: 10/21/2024 21:00 - 11/3/2024 23:59 PST

 

Event B.

【Burst Mode】The Evil Emperor of the Universe Stage 3

*Period: 10/24/2024 21:00 - 11/6/2024 06:59 PST

You must complete all steps to be entered.

 

Limit one (1) entry per person. 

 

Entries generated by a script, macro, or other automated means will be disqualified. Any attempt to enter multiple times, including but not limited to using multiple accounts, will result in disqualification. Incomplete, unreadable, or unintelligible entries will be disqualified. All information provided by entrants becomes the property of Sponsor.

 

5. ODDS OF WINNING.

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

 

6. PRIZES

LIMIT ONE PRIZE PER PERSON

All winners will receive an entry ticket to the Event.

Only winners who physically attend the Event will also receive a goodies bag.

Winners are responsible for any and all expenses in traveling to and from the Event, including but not limited to transportation, lodging, or other expenses. Travel expenses will not be covered or reimbursed for any reason whatsoever.

 

7. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION.

Approximately 500 potential winners will be randomly drawn by Sponsor from all eligible entries on or about November 6, 2024. Sponsor will contact the potential winners via in-game notification. Winners will be required to register via Eventbrite to complete their registration and be eligible to receive the prize. If registration is not completed within ten (10) days of in-game notification, the prize will be forfeited. In case of failure of any winner to provide required information within the specified time period, of noncompliance with the foregoing requirements, or if a winner cannot accept a prize as specified by Sponsor, the prize will be forfeited. In the event of a prize winner forfeiture or disqualification, Sponsor will randomly select an alternate winner.

 

8. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION.

The Promotion is subject to these Official Rules. By participating and/or accepting a prize, you agree: (i) to be bound by these Official Rules; (ii) to waive any right to claim ambiguity in the Promotion or these Official Rules; (iii) that Sponsor may prohibit a participant from participating in the Promotion if it, in its sole discretion, determines such participant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion in any way; (iv) the prizes are provided “AS IS” and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied; (v) to release Sponsor, and its parent, subsidiary, and affiliated entities together with their respective directors, employees, officers, licensors, and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, liability, loss or damage including but not limited to injury in connection with awarding, receipt and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in the Promotion; (vi) that Released Parties are not responsible for any printing, typographical, administrative or technological errors in any materials associated with the Promotion; and (vii) that the laws of the State of California without regard to conflict of laws provisions, will govern all disputes and claims arising out of this Promotion, and shall be brought exclusively in the federal courts located therein.

 

9. EVENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

a. Code of Conduct

The Event is subject to our Code of Conduct. You may be disqualified from the Event if at any time during the Event, you attempt to enter multiple times, including but not limited to using multiple email accounts, violate this Official Rules, terms of service, the Code of Conduct, and instructions from event staff.

The venue is a smoke free venue. You are prohibited from smoking or using marijuana in the venue.

 

b. Waiver.

(a) If you are disqualified for any reason, we are not responsible for any loss or damage caused by such disqualification.

(b) You acknowledge that participation in, and travel to and from, the Event carries with it certain inherent risks including but not limited to theft, injury, or trouble with other participants. You agree that as a condition of participation in the Event, you assume all risk of harm, loss, or injury to you in person or your property in relation to your participation in, and travel to and from, the Event.

(c) We reserve the right to modify, suspend, extend, or terminate the Event in our sole discretion.

(d) In the event that we are prevented from continuing with the Event by any event beyond its control, including but not limited to fire, flood, epidemic, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, terrorist threat or activity, war (declared or undeclared) or any law, order, or regulation, order of any court or jurisdiction, or other cause not reasonably within our control, we shall have the right to modify, suspend, extend or cancel the Event.

(e) EXCEPT FOR (i) INTENT OR GROSS NEGLIGENCE, AND (ii) ANY OTHER LIABILITY WHICH CANNOT BE LIMITED OR EXCLUDED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU HEREBY WAIVE AND RELEASE US, OUR SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND OTHER PARTNERS AND SUPPLIERS FROM ANY LOSS, LIABILITY, CLAIM, OR DEMAND, BOTH KNOWN OR UNKNOWN, YOU HAVE OR MAY HAVE, ARISING FROM OR IN ANY WAY RELATED TO THE EVENT.

 

c. Photo Release.

By attending the Event, you hereby grant us, our affiliates, and our agents a free, perpetual, and irrevocable consent to use your name, voice, signature, photograph, or likeness as it may be embodied in any photos, video or audio recordings, or other images or recordings made by or on behalf of us at or related to the Event. We may use such material for any purpose, including but not limited to the marketing and promotion of our products and services.

 

10. PRIVACY POLICY.

Any information provided by you in connection with the Promotion or Event will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
